These earrings are a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship, with every part meticulously created by hand. The process begins with Susan sketching or cutting the individual shapes, often resembling collage pieces that are part of her signature art collection. From there, each component is entrusted to a master carver, who shapes the stone and wood with precision—entirely by sight. The final assembly is done by a multi-generational goldsmith, who carefully balances and joins the pieces to ensure the earrings hang perfectly from the ear, like tiny sculptures. Each pair is a harmonious blend of technique, artistry, and tradition, making them as unique and wearable as they are beautiful.
