Originally from Jacksonville Florida, I moved to Atlanta in 1984 where in high school I discovered my love for photography. I then
went on to study at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at University of Georgia.

Out of college I began working as personal custom darkroom printer and photo consultant for Michael Stipe of R.E.M. for 8 years. 1992-2000 Then in 2000 I took the leap and opened my own full time studio, shooting commercial work and editorial work for publications all over the southeast.

Now over 25 years later I am still living in Athens and splitting my time between Athens and Atlanta, shooting commercial work and my personal Black & White portrait projects.
