Longhorn

Heather Lancaster's new work shown here in her Longhorn is a gorgeous creature that feels lifelike. She starts with a loose graphite drawing and then adds layers and layers of water, ink which she builds herself, and then layers more detail and sculpture of the form with graphite and charcoal. Her detail is exquisite as well as her proportions, realistic muscle form and color sense.  Her work is a range of extraordinary design adaptions that are carefully considered and rendered with a delicate hand. This is a masterpiece.
